Photo Gallery for Birthday Parties

We can help you personalize your birthday party at Flint Rock Farm.  Choose your theme and ask your guests to come dressed for the occasion.  Themes include cowboy, cowgirl or fun on the farm.  Or use our farm for another birthday theme of your choice.

Birthday Package includes:

• Free gift for the birthday child
• Themed party games and activities led by an employee for 30 minutes
• Pony or horse ride led by employee for 30 minutes
• Tractor pulled hay ride for 30 minutes
• Use of picnic area for refreshments that you provide (60 minutes)
• Themed party invitation (digital copy provided for you to print)
• Contact provided for delicious cakes decorated with your party theme

The cost for the time described above is $225.00 plus 7 % NC sales tax.  Since the number of guests is uncertain and we can not estimate how long pony rides may take or how many hay rides we will need, an additional $25.00 for each additional half hour will be charged.  We will be able to estimate your cost based on the number of guests that you expect.

Individual family outings can be scheduled in advance.  Many of the options offered for our field trips in Extend the Classroom to the Outdoors can be arranged for your small family group or join with another family.  Family outings can be arranged year round and personalized just for you and possibilities can include:

• Up close and personal visit with our farm animals and join in their feeding if you arrive during that time.
• Learn about the animal's habits and needs.
• Spring and Fall Storybook Trails: "Spookley the Square Pumpkin" and "JellyBean and the Unbreakable Egg"
• Hand led pony/horse rides in our round pen
• Use our farm for your family's Easter Egg hunt.  You provide the eggs and we can hide them ahead of time.

Many possibilities are available to make a fun visit to the country.  Price will be determined by the number of guests and the time the activities chosen should take to complete.  Visit soon and take home a memory!

The pastoral setting of Flint Rock farm is the perfect location for a large family reunion and a business get together which invites the employee's whole family.  Outdoor seating under the picnic shelter can accommodate 85 people with picnic tables to seat 80 more next to the shelter. You can provide your own covered dish food or arrange your food to be catered.  We can offer suggestions for caterers that have been to our farm.

Activities that can be included in your visit are:

• Corn hole games (tournaments are fun!)
• Ping pong
• Basketball 
• Tractor pulled hay rides
• Hand led pony/horse rides
• Storybook Trail in the spring and fall
• Horse shoes 
• Barnyard activities from Extend the Classroom to the Outdoors
